Want to see a recap of the 2016 Spring Mingle??? head over to the blog to see that, and also what awaits you for the 2017 Mingle.
The 3rd annual Spring Mingle is a gathering of single Christian young folks from across the country, who get together for 3 days of fellowship at Camp Galilee, a non-affiliated Christian camp nestled in the charming Ozark Mountains right on the shores of Bull Shoals Lake in Northwest Arkansas.
The principle scheme of this event is for broadening horizons, meeting and making new friends, seeing old ones again, and making memories for a lifetime! (Annnnd if you just so happen to meet your true love, we'll all celebrate with you!) Single, young folks ages 16-36 years are welcome and encouraged to come!
There is something for everyone to enjoy at the Spring Mingle. Camp Galilee offers Ping-Pong, ultimate Frisbee, eating hot wings, sand volley ball (with lights for night play), basketball, drinking coffee, team sports, baseball, air hockey, Foosball, canoeing, eating brownies, swimming, paddle boating, carpet ball, capture the flag, cooking, eating, folk dancing, lots and lots and lots of laughing, and music (they have a piano and you're welcome to bring your own instruments).
Continuing in 2017!!! The Mingle Mingle Relay Race. This is going to be the funnest thing since the invention of ice cream. (which I'm pretty sure was around 1492 B.C). This will be a race with teams of 7 people racing to complete 6 legs the fastest. The legs of the race will be: canoeing, swimming, sprint, circle the bat, mathematical equation, and a one mile run. Teams will race at the same time with different team members doing different legs. This is a race for everyone. you don't have to be a fitness freak to join. :) We also have a surprise activity planned for Saturday afternoon.
O.K back to details about the Mingle.
The Retreat Center houses the main hall, the kitchen, the mess hall, and both the men’s and ladies' dorms. (located on opposite sides of the building). There will be both a girls and guys chaperon.
All the meals are cooked by YOU and me! And that isn't as scary as it sounds. All meal preparation is done by the young folks. There will be sign-up sheets for kitchen duty! Make no mistake, just because they call it " kitchen duty" doesn't mean its dull or boring. On the contrary, that's where the party is at. ;) (If you have food allergies PLEASE let us know.)
Space is limited to 40 girls and 40 guys. We are really looking forward to seeing YOU there. Believe me, it will be a weekend worth your while!
